310S Heat Resistant Steel Plate with Precision Laser Cutting for Vietnam Steel Mill Furnace Upgrade Project
Được xuất bản vào ngày: June 3, 2026
Project Background
A major Vietnamese steel producer was upgrading its continuous annealing furnace line in the Ba Ria-Vung Tau industrial zone. The furnace required heat-resistant steel components capable of sustained operation at temperatures up to 1150°C in oxidizing and sulfur-containing atmospheres.
Challenge
- Sustained high-temperature operation (900-1150°C) with cyclic thermal loading
- Complex component geometries requiring precision laser cutting
- Resistance to oxidation and sulfidation in furnace atmosphere
- Stringent dimensional tolerances for furnace assembly
Solution
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Material | 310S (1.4845) Austenitic Heat Resistant Steel |
| Form | Hot Rolled Plate |
| Thickness | 6mm - 20mm |
| Processing | CNC Laser Cutting to custom CAD drawings |
| Standards | ASTM A240, EN 10095 |
| Certification | ISO 9001, SGS, TUV, BV |
310S grade (25% Cr, 20% Ni) provides excellent oxidation resistance at temperatures up to 1150°C and good resistance to sulfidation. All plates were laser-cut to the client CAD specifications, with edge quality verified and deburred. Mill test certificates per EN 10204 3.1 were supplied for every plate.
Results
- All components fitted precisely with zero rework required
- Furnace upgrade completed on schedule
- 6 months continuous operation without material degradation
- Client has standardized 310S specifications for future furnace maintenance
